01Our copyright policy

FoundFans LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how we respond to claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”, 17 U.S.C. § 512) and how rights holders can request removal.

We will promptly remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid takedown notice, and we terminate the listings of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

02What we actually publish

Before filing, please note what FoundFans hosts. We are a directory: for each creator we publish only a limited set of already-public information — display name and handle, public profile links, a single rehosted public profile photo, safe-for-work promotional images, a paraphrased bio, and public pricing.

We do not host paywalled or sexually explicit content, and we do not copy bio text verbatim. Most concerns can be resolved instantly through our removal form without a formal notice.

03Filing a takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent (below) that includes all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. a physical or electronic signature of the owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  3. identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (such as the exact URL) for us to locate it;
  4. your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may delay our response. We may forward valid notices, including your contact details, to the affected user.

04Designated DMCA agent

Send copyright notices to our Designated Agent:

DMCA Agent — FoundFans LLC
Email: [email protected]
Mailing address: [REGISTERED AGENT ADDRESS]

Note: Before relying on DMCA safe-harbor protections, FoundFans LLC must register this Designated Agent with the U.S. Copyright Office at dmca.copyright.gov and keep the registration current. Replace the placeholder address with the registered details.

05Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentified, you may send a counter-notification to our Designated Agent containing:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
  3. a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., for any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the conduct.

06Repeat infringers

Consistent with the DMCA, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts and listings of users who are repeat infringers.

07Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please be sure your complaint is valid before submitting it.

08Fast removal (no notice required)

You do not need to file a formal DMCA notice to get a listing removed. If you are the creator or a rights holder and simply want a listing or photo taken down, use our removal request form — we process verified requests within 24 hours.

09Trademark & other complaints

For trademark concerns, privacy complaints, or reports of non-consensual or unlawful material, contact [email protected]. We review and act on these reports promptly.

10Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. General questions can be sent to [email protected]; copyright notices must go to the Designated Agent above.
